In the heart of Haapsalu Old Town, at 14 Karja Street, a newly completed townhouse with an attic floor has been built. FOUNDATION

The building’s foundation has been designed as a monolithic slab foundation with EPS 200 edge strips and internal strips under the apartment walls.

EXTERNAL WALLS

The external walls are made of Bauroc Classic 200 mm small blocks. Insulation (150 mm mineral wool) is installed within a 50 × 150 mm timber frame structure. The wall is covered with a 13 mm Class A wind barrier board. The external cladding boards are vertical, with a thickness of 21 mm. The internal walls between apartments are steel-frame walls and walls built from 100 mm Bauroc small blocks/panels. Half tongue-and-groove boarding type UYSK, vertical profile 21 × 145/130 rough finish (manufacturer Raitwood).

ROOF

The roof covering is Classic-type long-panel profiled sheet metal, in dark grey.

EXTERNAL DOORS

Smooth veneered external doors are fitted with security locks.

WINDOWS

Wooden windows, Tikkurila shade Q639 (grey), interior side painted RAL 9010.

SEWERAGE AND WATER SUPPLY

The sewerage and water supply are connected to the city’s water and sewer networks.

HEATING AND VENTILATION

The building receives hot water and heating from the existing district heating network. Heating is provided by water-based underfloor heating. Each apartment has its own separate local ventilation unit. The energy label is A.
